Lazard Fund Managers with offices in Zurich, Geneva, Milan, Madrid and Brussels is seeking a proactive and professional individual.


Responsibilities include:


• Acquisition and servicing of TPD as well as Institutional investors across Belgium and Luxembourg (Banks, Family Offices, Wealth Managers, independent asset managers, Insurance companies and Pension Funds)
• Accountable for the generation of profitable income through the process of planning, leading, organizing and executing the marketing and sales efforts for Lazard’s business, while adhering to its business strategy and compliance policies
• Managing new business development, with an emphasis on raising assets within Belgium
• Achieve sales targets defined by the Country Head
• Prepare and execute a territory sales plan in accordance with the BeLux strategy and build and maintain a rolling pipeline of at least 3x annual target over time
• Start and manage the full sales cycle, coordinating portfolio managers, CPM’s and other specialist resources as needed
• Work with clients and prospects to ensure professional engagement and to fully understand their requirements, deliver quality proposals and investment advice
• Manage the sales cycle using Salesforce and maximize impact by initiating cross border coverage where appropriate
• Consider competition analysis and identify new market and growth opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline
• Representation of Lazard Fund Managers and it's investment strategies/funds during road shows, industry events and regular interaction with our TPD and Institutional prospects and clients
• Preparation, planning, execution of sales campaigns including follow up's
• Contribute to further building strong brand awareness and visibility across the investment community in BeLux
• You are actively involved in global firmwide activities


Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business administration, economics, finance; complemented by a master’s degree will be a plus with an emphasis on finance or economics
• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in Asset Management Sales & Marketing, with a successful Third Party Funds distribution background within Belgium and Luxembourg
• Experience in operating in an international organization and building deep relationships across virtual boundaries and within a matrixed reporting environment
• A proven track record of driving sales revenue with third party distribution and institutional channels in Belgium and Luxembourg
• Proven business development skills developed through former distribution sales experience
• Possess a strong understanding of TPD strategies in the BeLux market
• A thorough and technical understanding of traditional and alternative investment products, including the process by which BeLux/European investors evaluate and allocate capital to these investment vehicles
• Strong understanding and familiarity with local market, distribution channels and competitors
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French and English (written and verbal)
• Strong analytical capability and detail-oriented
• Affinity for capital market topics, exceptional client servicing skills with good commercial instincts
• Team-oriented, high proactivity, flexible and resilient
• Self-starter, driven by results, outgoing and confident
• Strong work ethic
• Ambitious, desire to invest within the firm for the long term
