Executive Desktop Support, Associate

 

Lazard is looking for an executive desktop support associate to provide professional and efficient technical support to senior executive and non-executive employees that are using hardware, software, and applications standard to Lazard. This role will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving physical, virtual, and mobile device problems, routing calls to other support areas as necessary, alerting management when critical. This role reports to the VP, Desktop Support.

 

This individual will have significant autonomy and flexibility in identifying and initiating activities to achieve the objectives of the position.  The individual is expected to “lead by example”, mentor colleagues with less experience, and be able to carry out tasks with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly interface with senior executive employees, providing them with high quality customer service and technical assistance across all support channels, device types and applications used at Lazard.
  • Proactively provide partnership and guidance to senior executive and executive administration staff, helping them navigate the lifecycle of technology they leverage at Lazard as configurations and processes change.
  • Troubleshoot, isolate, and research problems, recommending solutions and escalating to infrastructure and application support teams when necessary.
  • Develop procedures, tools, and documentation to enhance the support delivery to internal customers.
  • Communicate known problems and fixes to team members and other technical groups by developing and delivering training as needed.
  • Analyze production reports and identify end user trends, making recommendations to management on proactive course of action.
  • Possible travel to offices and other locations outside of the New York campus.
  • Participate in various projects in partnership with internal Technology teams as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or a related field.
  • 5 – 7 years+ of experience in a similar corporate executive technical support position with the ability to quickly diagnose, prioritize and troubleshoot complex system problems.
  • Bring a “go-getter”, self-starter, high energy attitude that can prove to be the face of IT all while working in an ultra-fast paced environment with the most senior employees at the firm.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Efficiently interface with senior executive employees
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft’s M365 Office suite of productivity tools.
  • Be experienced in supporting Apple operating systems, specifically iOS, iPad OS, and Mac OS.
  • Experience with SCCM, Active Directory, AWS Workspaces, vCenter, AirWatch, networking protocols, ServiceNow, and supporting financial business environments
