Role and Responsibilities

Lazard Asset Management is seeking a Digital Optimization & Performance Analytics Manager to join its Global Digital team based in New York and reporting to the Global Head of Digital. The team is looking for a T-shaped digital marketer with skills across optimizing performance of all digital channels (website, social, SEO, SEM, email, advertising etc.) including improvement of different KPIs and specialization in digital analytics with expertise in delivering improved performance.

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing analytics, including identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends in complex digital marketing data sets. The candidate needs to have an understanding of the 360 view of the digital metrics, including what needs to be measured per channel and how each channel fits within the user journey. The candidate should demonstrate expertise in Google Analytics including GTM, and a proven track record of delivering data-driven insights that inform digital strategy. The candidate should be highly skilled, passionate, outgoing, communicative, and curious, excel in a high-pressure fact-pace environment, be able to respond to high expectations, provide leadership, have proven time management skills, and possess an eye for detail.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work very closely with Global Head of Digital to build and deliver on a vision for Digital Analytics

  • Build holistic view of all digital marketing channels and KPIs

  • Have strong communication skills to deliver optimization recommendations to management

  • Build holistic KPI framework that is robust, scalable, and clientfocused

  • Build and maintain clear and concise recurring reports to measure success

  • Own benchmarks, standardization, and documentation

  • Ensure the accuracy of all digital data Tell stories from data to optimize KPIs

  • Work with digital, creative, and channel marketing teams to implement change

  • Provide insights on best practices for tagging digital activity for measurement

  • Engage with client facing teams to explain our recommendations

  • Assist global teams with adhoc and recurring analytics requests to support their marketing

  • Construct and execute critical reporting across digital channels

  • Work collaboratively to ensure all data and recommendations are valid and accurate

  • Undertake digital marketing attribution analysis


  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, marketing, analytics, or quantitative field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing and analytics

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Expertise in implementation and utilization of Google Analytics

  • Independent thinker with intellectual curiosity who pursues excellence

  • Ability to process clean data, comfortable with manipulating large data sets

  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Google Adwords is a plus

  • Experience with Tableau and/or other BI tools is a plus

  • Experience with SEM is a plus

  • Knowledge and/or experience in Asset Management industry
