The Private Client Group is responsible for providing investment capabilities to high-net worth clients and family offices around the globe. We are looking for an entrepreneurial minded individual to focus on existing client relationships and new business opportunities.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage client account relationships
  • Implement investment objectives for an assigned book of relationships
  • Identify prospects and cross-selling opportunities by utilizing market intelligence and competitive analysis resources
  • Continual education of Lazard’s products and services offered
  • Prospect, manage and identify opportunities to expand key client relationships
  • Understand the client's investment goals and objectives and develop a diversified investment plan and strategy to meet goals.
  • Advise clients with complex investment relationships on asset allocation and portfolio construction for strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Contribute to the overall sales process by identifying opportunities to promote Lazard’s products

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • CIMA or CFA designation preferred
  • 7+ years’ experience in investment management
  • Series 7
  • Keen understanding of sales and marketing process
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative reasoning ability, with the capacity to understand inner workings of investment strategies and represent them in appropriate detail to an audience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build a significant level of trust with clients
  • Excellent writing/editing skills
  • Strong verbal communications skills and comfort engaging all levels of firm management
  • Self-confidence and a proven ability to work well with highly capable and successful individuals
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Works effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Highly detail oriented
